The Lifeline: Stargen serialized bridging technology
is incorporated into a universal PCI card, extending the
PCI bus outside of your host computer. Our standard 3
meter cable provides a 5 Gigabit/second full duplex link
from your computer or server to our PCI Expansion System.
Multiple Power Options A 400W power supply provides plenty of power for seven PCI cards. A redundant, hot-swappable power supply is optional for high-availability applications.
Stay Cool: Cooling fans provide optimal cooling to your cards and disk drives within the ventilated enclosure.
Save Your Work: Optional drive bays are
available to accommodate up to seven internal 3.5" disk
drives.
Card Hold Down Bar: Optional PCI card hold down mechanism prevents cards from being dislodged during transportation.
Easy Installation: Install the Magma PCI host interface card into any available PCI slot, connect the cable, add your PCI cards and power up. No driver is required.

MAGMA's patented 7 Slot Stargen
PCI-to-PCI Expansion Systems provide seven PCI
slots in a separate rack-mount enclosure that connects
to a host desktop or server through an available PCI slot.
Utilizing Stargen's serialized bridging technology, everything installed
in the enclosure actually acts as if it's inside the host
computer. This is accomplished by the chassis communicating
to the host via a standard three meter, high-speed 5 Gigabit
full-duplex link…providing up to a 528 Megabytes/second data
transfer rate between the host computer and the hardware within
the chassis.
