Magma expansion products provide an easy way to add multiple PCI, PCI-X and PCI Express cards and hard drives to your computer. A variety of expansion chassis are available ranging from 1-slot expansion to 13-slot expansion with monitoring and redundant power. Multiple systems can be daisy-chained for maximum expansion capabilities. Host connection types include standard PCI, Low Profile PCI, CardBus (PCMCIA), PCI Express® and ExpressCard™.

PCI Express® Expansion

Magma PCI Express Expansion Systems provide a high-performance and low latency solution for expanding PCI Express connectivity outside the computer. Expand one PCI Express slot to single or multiple PCI Express slots in a separate enclosure with dedicated power and cooling. OEM Board-sets & Upgrades

The OEM Board-Sets are non-enclosed versions of the Magma Slot PCI / PCI-X and PCI Express Expansion products. Non-enclosed board-sets are intended for OEMs and System Integrators who wish to utilize a non-Magma enclosure. Blade Expansion Systems

Magma launched the Industry’s first ExpressModule used to support Expansion Blade Chassis to augment the Sun Blade Modular Systems.
