Products in this market need additional PCI slots to operate PCI cards that allow them to increase their editing/production capabilities.  Each video card provides different capabilities that allow the editor/producer to perform functions such as:

-Manipulate and transform video

-Add sounds (audio), transitions (video) or effects (both)

-Increase the amount of input devices (for additional video equipment)
